Imagine the self-confidence and dexterity you or your child will acquire from starting flute lessons. At a Child’s Song, one can learn to play in a supportive, low-pressure environment. Learning to playing the flute at A Child’s Song is all about having fun!

A Child’s Song offers several varieties of flute lessons, including students with disabilities, starting at age six through adult.  Lessons and classes are offered in the studio and virtually.

Beginner students will work on correct technique as well as fingerings and embouchure (correctly using the lips, facial muscles, tongue, and teeth in playing a wind instrument). They will learn to read notes, rhythm, dynamics, and music theory while getting the best possible sound from their instrument.

Intermediate to advanced students will learn techniques that will help take their playing to the next level while enjoying pieces in a variety of genres.

Students enjoy learning a variety of techniques taught by our experienced educators.
