Free Weekly Guitar, Piano and Drum Instruction for Children Grades 1-12

Community children in grades 1-12 are invited to participate in free weekly music lessons through the Northglenn Alliance, a partnership between A Child’s Song, Mercy Music and Crossroads Church. Located at the Crossroads Community Center in Northglenn, participants gather each Wednesday from 6pm to 8pm to learn keyboard, guitar and drums.

The Northglenn Alliance, now in its second year, provides educational experiences to children whose parents are participating in the Crossroads ESL program. Crossroads ESL is a ministry of Crossroads Church that serves immigrants in the North Denver area with affordable English lessons. While parents attend ESL classes, their children are invited to participate in these inclusive and rewarding instrument lessons.

The free music program is also available to any child in the community in grades 1-12 who would like the opportunity to learn keyboard, guitar and drums. Parents of attendees can stay to watch their child discover the joys of musicianship.

ACS spokesperson, Sara Russell, is available for interviews to discuss the event and the organization’s mission.
