Thank you to all of our students, families, and friends who attended the 2023 Spring Jam Sessions. It was truly a musical carnival ride to remember!
In lieu of regular classes, students were invited to experience music in new ways with 5 specialized rooms. Educators provided 15-minute group tutorials on instruments that many of the participants had never tried before. Sessions included:
- Karaoke with Cassie
- Bucket Drumming with John
- Ukulele with Evan
- Hand Bells with Sandy
- Bass and Keys with Jared
For two nights in a row, dozens of students with their families and friends, flooded the studio with new joyous sounds. They went from session to session with open minds and willing hearts, bravely stretching their musical skills. It was inspiring to witness their courage and talent in action on instruments they don’t usually play.
We also want to thank our educators for putting together engaging sessions that would provide a positive introduction to instruments and activities. They thoughtfully crafted bite-sized lessons that could provide new knowledge with a side of fun. We are so grateful to them for all of the hard-work and energy they devoted to making the events a success!
