A Child’s Song 2022 Winter Jam Sessions were memorable thanks to the dozens of attendees who came out each night to celebrate the season and share in the special festivities.
Students, friends and their families gathered in our music circle to kickoff each evening. Piano students bravely performed beautiful pieces, some holiday songs, that they have been practicing for only a couple weeks. Then our very special guest Dan Treanor gave a master class in Harmonica, complete with free harmonicas for all attendees. Individuals young and old stepped up to accompany Mr. Treanor in a round of blues music. Students were then able to mingle with Mr. Treanor, ACS staff, other students and their friends and loved ones as they shared hot cocoa, assorted treats and decorated holiday ornaments.
Our Jam Sessions provide hands-on music experiences for our students and Northglenn Alliance attendees, outside what they would normally do in their weekly lessons. As a bonus, they get to bring people they hold near and dear to share the fun and forge new connections. Our team appreciates everyone who joins to make the evenings an extra special event. Thank you to everyone who attended!
