Heritage Todd Creek Casino Night Raises over $6,400 in Support of Music Education

Heritage Todd Creek, a private community in Thornton for 55+ year old residents, raised over $12,500 at their annual Casino Night. An exclusive event for community residents, the event provides an evening of roulette, craps, and blackjack with a silent auction and cash bar for added enjoyment. Proceeds raised were distributed evenly between A Child’s Song and Graceful Oaks Youth Ranch.

The night of the event was filled with excitement, generosity, and community spirit. As a beneficiary of the event, our nonprofit organization had the privilege of participating in this remarkable occasion. We had a dedicated table at the event, where we showcased our mission and impact. Thanks to the kind-hearted members of the 5280 Referral Network, we were able to distribute delightful goodie bags filled with donated items. These bags not only brought joy to the attendees but also served as a token of appreciation for their support.

During the evening, our Executive Director, Sandy Taylor, took the stage to share insights about our organization. Her heartfelt words resonated with the audience, highlighting the impact of music education and the importance of community engagement. We are grateful for the opportunity to raise awareness about our cause and connect with like-minded individuals who share our passion.

The event surpassed all expectations, raising an astonishing $12,500+ in proceeds. This remarkable achievement is a testament to the incredible support and generosity of the attendees, sponsors, and volunteers who came together to make a difference. We are truly humbled by the overwhelming response from the community.

The Heritage Todd Creek Casino Night Charity Benefit would not have been complete without the incredible contributions from our generous supporters. Many individuals and businesses stepped forward to donate items for the silent auction, which added an element of excitement and helped raise additional funds. Their support and belief in our mission are deeply appreciated.

Supporters Included:

  • 5280 Referral Network member Jeff Quimby of Universal Solutions (exterior restoration/contracting) provided a beautiful gardening gift basket featuring a galvanized planter, gardening tool set with bag, solar lights, butterfly wind catchers, 10 certified organic herb seed packets, and $150 Lowe’s gift card.
  • 5280 Referral Network members Dale & Anita Trumm of The Trumm Home Team at Keller Williams (real estate) provided an evening on the town gift basket complete with gift cards to Maggiano’s and the movie theater.
  • Parry’s Pizza in Northglenn provided a Parry’s Pizza Party with 4 large pizzas, 2 salads and 20 wings.

This event exemplified the true spirit of community and collaboration. Casino Night brought together people from all walks of life, united in their commitment to making a positive impact. It was inspiring to witness the collective effort and camaraderie displayed throughout the evening.

Looking Ahead:

As we reflect on the success of Casino Night, we are energized and motivated to continue to break down the barriers of access to life-changing music programs. The funds raised will enable us to further our mission, providing in-house scholarships to additional students with unique needs and expanding our community outreach programs to reach additional at-risk youth and senior citizens who could benefit from the social-emotional benefits of music education. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who contributed to the success of this event.

The Heritage Todd Creek Casino Night Charity Benefit was a resounding success, leaving a lasting impression on our organization and the community. We are grateful for the immense support, whether it was through financial contributions, donated items, or volunteering. Together, we are making a positive difference, and we look forward to the continued growth and impact of our nonprofit. Thank you to everyone who made this extraordinary evening possible.

About Graceful Oaks Youth Ranch (second Casino Night beneficiary)
In 1999, while traversing Colorado’s mountains, Chalae Collard had a vision to start a horse ranch, recalling how her childhood horse, Tina, helped her navigate difficult times. This vision was rooted in her desire to provide children and families with a sanctuary during tough times, mirroring the hope and freedom she experienced through Tina and her relationship with Jesus. Despite not knowing how or when this dream would come to fruition, she trusted in God’s voice. In 2015, she actualized this dream, establishing Graceful Oaks Youth Ranch near I-25 and Hwy 52.
